Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are still proud parents of six lovely children despite their split.
In 2002, Jolie became a mother for the first time when she took in 21-year-old Maddox Chivan from an orphanage in Cambodia. Three years later, the family welcomed eighteen-year-old Zahara Marley, who was born in Ethiopia.
The pair chose to continue expanding their family shortly after Pitt made the decision to adopt Jolie’s first two children as well.
After their 17-year-old daughter Shiloh Nouvel was born in 2006, Jolie and Pitt adopted their 19-year-old son Pax Thien from Vietnam.
Then, in 2008, they added their twins, Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, who are 15 years old, into their family, growing it even further.
According to Jolie, her children have benefited much from their exposure to a diversified upbringing and large family.
They’re really wonderful people, and I believe that their sheer number has had a big impact on one another. It’s not as though I lead anything. I tell my kids the truth all the time. Jolie added, “And with my kids, I’m very human.”
