Pierce Brosnan pays beautiful tribute to wife Keely and recalls their first meeting as she turns 60

For good reason, everyone’s favorite celebrity pair is Pierce Brosnan and Keely Shaye Smith.

Ever since their relationship began in 1994, it has been evident in all of their photos together just how much they love and support one another.

Pierce’s sweet birthday wish for Keely, which he shared on Instagram yesterday (September 26), is another example of how they’ve kept up their streak.

“For my brown-eyed girl’s 60th birthday, sixty roses.” “I was sitting there when you came around the corner early one morning in Cabo San Lucas @keelyshayebrosnan, and I was forever happy and blessed,” he wrote.

Pierce originally married Cassandra Harris in 1994; she unfortunately died in 1991. Pierce then moved to Mexico to meet Keely.

They got married in 2001 at Ireland’s Ballintubber Abbey and are parents to Dylan and Paris, their two kids.

Last month, the pair celebrated their 22nd anniversary. In June, Pierce posted a lovely photo of the couple that was taken by her well-known friend and Mamma Mia! co-star Dominic Cooper, along with a wonderfully sentimental caption.

“Stars emerge from the heavens, the firmament splits the primordial water, the moon rises, and night descends…ward going for home,” he wrote.

In honor of the legendary James Bond actor’s 70th birthday, Keely and the rest of Pierce’s family sent their own heartfelt wishes to him earlier this year.

Keely said, “Happy Birthday, my darling @piercebrosnanofficial.”

Paris said, “Happy 70th to the creator @piercebrosnanofficial. “More life, more art, more blessings…” alongside a collection of images of Pierce and his sons.
